What type of animal is a bluegill?
3 acre retention pond in my back yard. For 18 years it has had no management & little structure. Once the grass carp eliminated the weeds, the pond was just a big bath tub. For the past two years with the help of the Pond Boss Forum I have worked to reduce the trash fish, reduce the # of turtles, & increase the natural & artificial structure. The average BG that I catch has increased by an inch. The LMB are keeping the small BG in check. I regularly throw pellets to suppliment growth & health.
