I made it out yesterday made plans a week ago not knowing it was going to be the coldest day of the year and the wind keep me of the main lake. I caught one dink bluegill and the gentleman with me caught 2 perch after I bragged to him how great the lake was, but to my dismay we were not able to get on the big water.

I'm sorry I'm just learning about spoons myself after talking to Bill Modica. My way of fishing is ultra light rod and reel with small jigs or spinners. I'm sure if to ask him (Bill) he will gracefully give you an answer. Or you can start a blog if you want more opinions. What ever you do this is a good site and lot of people share information and don't mind doing so. That's how we all learn we stumble onto something or we ask questions. Hope this helps you GOOD FISHIN..

Welcome aboard Dave. You are now part of an interesting bunch of people who have a common goal we all love to fish and fish we do. When we do this thing we love to do we are all the time learning and when we learn we pass on what we learn. Its out there for us to share cause if you read the Blogs and Forums there are tons of information for us to fine tune our skills. In the same token don't be afraid to share information yourself it may be something we can use ourselves to help us in our fishing endeavors. Then in the same token if you have a question don't be afraid to ask. Almost everybody here will answer your question if he or she knows the answer. There is also photo's and even some videos so don't be afraid to explore I know you will enjoy doing so. Where else can you learn and have so much fun doing it. GOOD FISHIN..
