Wading slip Float Fishing 8' rod

This fish took a Red feathered (Jesse)32nd oz jig with crawler piece.Gotta change tip on rod. It is poorly designed like a split ring line gets caught and snaps off float lost two floats casting .The 8' rod gets good casting distance with 2 # test though .First time using the Zebco Slab Seeker. An oddity : lost another float after setting the hook on a Gill that hit the float and cut the line with its fin.It(or another fish) was hooked and was swimming around fighting with the floats buoyancy .
