This is a bag of chunky gold I caught downtown Chicago. While we don't have some species we ((used to)) have the best wild goldfish spot I have ever known.

In another post we discussed Cook County poisoning and throwing out all these fish (12.5 tons) from a small pond. Each one of these fat goldfish would have fetched $10 wholesale to garden shops.
If they were worried about disease transfer- they could have quarantined and treated the fish. Big city dummies at work with 50-year old methods.
Resources are all precious.
