Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Fishing was off for the males today. Think they are going to the beds... Probably caught 10 females for every male. Release rate was way up for fish in the 9" & 10" class.

Thnx GM.

Never really thought about the last thing the BG sees, or how it sees it, before it strikes....

Need to work on this angle with a real brute.

My thought has been is a fish looking cross eyed at a fly, bait, etc when it's on their nose??

Nice shot!!! Was having a discussion and your picture just settled it!!!! With the eyes of a gill one the side of their heads,  When you look straight at them eye to eye are the crosseyed?????
