Jim ,that craft hair Jig you tied is very much like the Squirrel Tail jig I tie and catch multiple Perch on . Looks similar in the water .The craft hair is softer to the touch .The color of that specific craft hair is very close to squirrel tail though. I tie red and Black collars usually . Thanks for helping me catch this fish and yes that pool in higher water should be very attractive to Trout and hopefully Smallmouth!
