Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

The male Bluegills were hanging tight to their spawning beds last night and hence were easy pickings. Here are the four nicest ones (running 9 1/2 to 9 3/4 In, 1 lbs to 1 lbs 3 oz) and a fair damsel that was one subject of their intentions. Note the scar on Quasimodo's back (bottom left) - it didn't stop him from reaching a pound!

It could be all the second-hand Diet Mountain Dew.

BTW, I proved over and over again last night that a 9" BG on your line seriously outfights a 16"-17" LMB.

That female's got some serious helmet development as well! Something in the water?
