Sounds like you need a snell knot.  What kind off hook were you using?

i wanted to share something with everyone that happened to me yesterday on this rig. while setting the hook into a fish i felt a large tug and then nothing but air. after reeling in  i inspected the setup now missing a hook pulling on the sinker revealed the knot was still intact. the line is so thin it made its way past the eyelet of the hook.

very noticeable benefit in casting distance... very little if any memory.

id like to try Nanofil i heard it is thinner and smoother for casting further distances.

How do you like Spiderwire for casting distance?
