August 17, 2013 and nearly ten o'clock in the morning... SEVENTY DEGREES! I'm not talking in the house with the AC on, I'm talking on the back porch and not in the shade. UNHEARD of in Oklahoma normally. We usually have trouble keeping it seventy degrees in the house this time of year. Oh... and the grass? Yep, still green and needing to be mowed, OUTRAGOUS!

greetings from south Louisiana, boy it is some weather for August makes me want to go squirrel hunting.
I already have MY LONGJOHNS OUT!!!!!!! :-)
Trust me I am not complaining about the cool temps, Keith. I spend a good share of my day working on the roof of our plant with the ammonia refrigeration system, and this cool weather is a blessing. I just checked and we got up to 67 degrees today. It has rained off and on all day though.
Keith, my wife is saying that we're going to have a really cold, hard Winter this year. Do you think so?
You're right about the weather. This time last year, I wasn't mowing; hadn't mowed in weeks, if not over a month. Temps were popping 100 every day, and then there was the wildfire out in Mannford!
We better not get caught complaining Vince! The dew actually registered in my rain gauge this morning... the DEW for Pete"s Sake!
This weather has been mixed up for sure Keith. I woke up this morning to 63 degrees and very cloudy here in GA. It rained again last night, and they are calling for more rain through tomorrow.
