We use large bucktail lures or any large mirrolure topwater normally used for saltwater speckled trout or redfish fishing

Nice ones!...bet you caught them at the Ross Barnett spillway didnt ya? I have pulled some big ones out of there myself. Caught a few 30 lb. plus catfish outa there too.

Caught the Hybrid Stripers from the bank at Ross Barnett reservoir. During the Spring/Summer you can see them bursting the surface. When living there I would take the kids out and let them battle one or two great battle on medium tackle. Largest caught around 10 lbs...
