John, There is really no need to bring your own boat. We worry about introducing vegitation to the lake that we don't want.

Jim, he is accually longer than he looks in the picture. I couldn't get him to streighten his tail out. (Notice the light change at his tail)

Nice and big 'gill! Background reminded me of famous Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee! I wondered, can I bring my own boat if I plan go fish there?

That fish looks like something out of California with those body dynamics! Incredible girth...I'll bet that fish isn't even 12 inches long!

Walt he was at least 8 inches. My reach from thumb to longest finger is exatly 8" and I couldn't get my hand around him.

 

Jim, I only had about an hour to fish so I was tossing my search bait. It was a Lucky Craft CB Mighty D2R crankbait. It helps me find the depth they are at and then I  will usually switch to the Ultra Light tackle. I just didn't have the time that day.
