I probably need to start tying Pike flies.  After fighting this fish (my new PB Pike), I can just imagine the fight on my 8wt.

-John, yes.  A Rebel T10 Jumping Minnow.  I like using that plug, as it's tail-weighted, casts a country mile, and has a nice walk-the-dog action.  Good luck finding them.  Rebel only does a production run on those every 5 years or so.  Try looking in the clearance bins at your local Wally World.

-Ben, they get bigger :)

-Carl, not as much as you might think.  Wind was blowing about 15 mph, so I had my drift sock out to slow my drift down.  It doesn't help that this fish hit the lure about 10' from my yak.
