They'll eat anything they can fit in their mouth, very aggressive feeders

What a cool looking fish! Looks like they would fight real good.

they like the heat, they start slowing down a lot after the first couple of cold fronts in Oct. and don't bite much until the next spring

there are plenty of them in texas, almost every river and creek has them, but they only get this big in about 3-4 areas

On this fish you can see the actual colors of them, after they spawn they get a lot lighter and get the turquoise spots on them
