Jim, I flyrod, but if I was to use a spinning rod with these, not saying I am going to yet. But if I was how do you fish them below a bobber , slip cork, tight line??? The 1/80 jig head is castable with a 4 wt., Not sure if I could feel that size jig on my spinning rod. This is a great teachable moment.

Wish you lived next door Jim . I'd take you in my boat to my crappie honey hole. They'd eat those fine looking jigs! I tie mine mostly with red collars too.

Jim , These look great gonna try these on 1/80 . Would like a smaller head but these are the smallest I have. If you here a loud scream from the southwest tommorow, It is probably me peircing my ear with a chuck and duck RiverCritter. Not ready to give up fly rod yet. But............

Hey guys and gals...a couple of my favorite patterns for crappie, especially in cold weather , like, right now! 1/16 and 1/32 oz hairjigs tied with craft hair, marabou and flashabou accent for scale patterns. They fall real slow and you can tip with bait if you want.
