Lost a fine Jumping Smallmouth on a 1" chartruese Twister tail today.A strong river fish, 13 or 14 " I guess.Jumped ,bulldoggged while taking drag and broke off 2# test when I applied pressure as he approached a snag down stream .I've switched to 4 # test.I would have been better off I believe if I was on the other side of the river , it would have been easier to walk downstream from there.
