Jim -Looks like a cold day!Was this recently you caught this nice stringer of Fish?I had a fish fry this week.I kept 3 crappie and two gills from 7-9 inches .Next time I'm keeping some yellow Perch and White Perch.Got mine on spoons and worm pieces .Ya know the perch,Gillsand Crappies are hittin a small crayfish pattern Bomber Crankbait tooat my home lake.
Keep reeling em' in, my man.....I am headed to Lake Guntersville this weekend to hit up a bream bed or two myself. I'm looking to catch a limit all three days.
Do you notice the bigger perch are caught in the same ares as the big bluegills? I often catch a large perch, then gills, but rearley the other way around.
We didn't weigh them, but had six fish from 10 to just slightly over 10 1/2 inches, which usually sees Piney Run gills going from 14 oz. to as much as 1 lb 4 ozs. Our biggest was Matts last minute fish that is not actually on the stringer at this point. Matts citation is on the other photos. Thanks!
