Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Hook Size 10 dry to big as you want
Body 1mm. or 2mm. close cell foam
tie in the back (black) middle third of hook. Leave back extended out over the bend 2''.
Tie in front (yellow) middle 1/2 of hook, with the back end extended over the eye of the hook.
Fold black over the yellow and tie in at the middle, extend to the eye of the hook and cut off excess.
Then fold yellow back over and tie in the middle. Trim.
Legs are rubber , I use legs from buzz bait skirt.

I really don't know how to respond to that question!!! But it is easy to tie, floats like a top, and BLUEGILL inhale it!!!!!!!  :-)

So why is this called a Tokyo Spider? It was in Japan that I first tried fly fishing, so that name caught my eye.

Doug's Tokyo Spider, With a little modification. Tied on a size 8 3xl hook. Great fly, do not see how a 7" blue gill swallowed it whole but he did. Doug not sure where you went but thanks for pattern.
