Draw downs are nice, letting you see the layout of the underwater landscape first hand.

And if there is a swimming beach, they let you access areas with a metal detector you might not have been able to reach.  I have literally paid for a years worth of fishing that way.

YUP,  ive caught bass  in the prespawn and spawn stages here in this NW cove area .The waters down around 5 '  i'd say

Time to go looking for fishing poles, lures, sinkers, etc!

One of my home lakes is being drawn down.  It's about 6 - 7' below normal pool right now, and they're going to take it down to 15' below normal pool.  I need to go out there and take some pics.
