Rough on the motor and battery but ya do what it takes to catch I guess Carl! Sounds like a great spot!

John;; sauger love currents !!  best places to fish for them is below dams at the boils;; if you can   stand it!!  right here at the steam plant;;  to give you a idea of the current there;; I have a 45 pound trolling motor;; run up into the cove a bit; drop the trolling motor; put it on high speed;; and I just sit still !!!! dropping a anchor;; wont help !! usually anchors no where heavy enough !    in winter time;; the - outlets-- have warmer water than surrounding water;; great place to catch all kinds of fish  when they turn the pumps on high;; drawing water in;;  water boils big time !!

ALLEN;; I SURE WAS FISHING THE THERMAL CLINE BUDDY !!  EVEN A ONE OR 2 DEGREE WARMER WATER  IN SURROUNDING AREA;  WILL DRAW FISH LIKE A MAGNATE !!

HERE YOU GO JOHN;; A OLD PIX OF A SAUGER I CAUGHT  BESIDE THE GALLATIN STEAM PLANT; 7 MILES FROM MY HOUSE !! IT WAS A SMALL ONE BUT LEGAL TO KEEP
