That's a nice shot of your dad Jacob. He's wearing my shirt from 1970! Tye-dye! Cool! My dad also got me started on Bluegill when I was a kid of about 7 or so, back in the mid fifties. He would rig up the rod, then sit and read the newspaper while I fished off a dock. He's still active (88 years old) and we still wet a line together once in a while. I love my dad for many reasons and one of them is his interests in nature and fishing, which he so generously passed on to me.

Jacob, you'll be blessed with your Dad's presence every time you fish for the rest of your life because your Dad cared about you enough to introduce you to such a fine sport. We're so glad to have you here. If you're ever in Nebraska I extend a permanent invitation to join me fishing.

As many amazing memories I have had with my son, surely, I will be thinking of you and your dad. It is a great thing to have a father who teaches such adventures.
