I've only used my 2WT rod for the past 3 years. I can still cast for distance with a 2WT and then let the gills fold the rod over......yowza what fun. Went fishin for a while last night or should say hunting gills and they've moved back to the deep. All nests I found were empty. Hopefully they'll move back up when we near full moon conditions again.

Yea, so glad you're back amongst us humans! Well, why don't you come up this weekend and take me fishing and I'll show you my "triple flash". Knowing you I'll bet you've got a new rod to show me.

That's a great picture of a really nice fish! I haven't gotten the shellcrackers [red ear] figured out yet, and taking them on a fly just blows my mind. Was it a sinking fly? I've heard they prefer to feed on the bottom... anyway, WOW! and congrats on the boat too!

That's a huge gill, And you caught it on a 2 wt rod. I caught some nice bass last weekend, but I doubt they put up as good of a fight as your BULLGILL. Good job.
