Do you love big bluegill?

An eerie place to fish when it's foggy.

@ Greg- Yes the tower and the incoming water "bubble"  is bouyed off for a couple hundred feet in all directions.  Lots of people will illegally drop a line over the bouy line to stay close to the boil of water coming in because there are lots of fish attracted to the water movement and food it stirs up. Also the added oxygen I would think.  Though it doesn't look it in the photo, that tower is really big.

Jeff, Is it just bouyed off around the tower????

Can barely make out the pontoon by the white bouy in the background - right side. We were fishing 30 - 35 FOW. Water temp down in the mid 70s is not helping, slowing down the bug hatches.

You cannot go up near the rocks because the entire area is bouyed off with "Keep Out" signs and ropes.  The fish are out in this 25 to 30 foot areas anyway.  Some are suspended and some are on the bottom.  Fishing deep for Bluegill is a little different than fishing in shallow areas.

Definitely a work out kicking all the way there from the launch ramp but worth it. Loved that with the fog I didn't need to wear a hat or shades.
