Hey Jim, Those Gills came on a heavily fished Public lake that's about 15 minutes away from my house! I'd only fished that lake once before (during Ice Fishing season--caught some small Gills, small Crappie, and small Perch) and was not sure I wanted to try it again! Caught on Bobby Garland Baby Shad-Bluegrass color on 1/32 oz black jighead fishing from shore, casting as far as I could cast toward deeper water (approx 5-6 ft deep with fairly sharp dropoff from shallow to deep water--could see large PVC pipeline structure in water and made my casts directly in line with this structure)!!
