happens here too ledhed.too many boats and not much water.you either gotta have a boat big enough for lake michigan or small enough to keep away from the bass boat crowd.me i am happy on foot most of the time

Way too much of that happens in California, and it seems even worse than it was when I was young. Maybe just a function of how many people we have and how little water, but it's rampant. I give people space where they're fishing and teach my kids to do the same, but the mainstream attitude these days seems to be that to just horn right in is OK.

You don't see the other 2 bass boats and the rental. Guys, in the rental, made a mistake and caught a couple of nice bass on top water - with 1 bass boat watching. Next thing you know 2 more bass boats move in - looked like a tarpon tourney. Boat rental didn't have a chance and they found the bite!
