John, I haven't had a chance to go looking for anything yet.
Thanks, buddy.
The way I see it, there are many kinds of "fishing!"
Very cool David !I have learned to expect, and respect, this type of resourcefulness from you !
Draw downs are nice, letting you see the layout of the underwater landscape first hand.
And if there is a swimming beach, they let you access areas with a metal detector you might not have been able to reach. I have literally paid for a years worth of fishing that way.
Hey Allen, here's what I found so far .How'd you do?http://bigbluegill.com/photo/free-stuff?context=album&albumId=2...
found a rapala and a spinnerbait so far Allen
YUP, ive caught bass in the prespawn and spawn stages here in this NW cove area .The waters down around 5 ' i'd say
Time to go looking for fishing poles, lures, sinkers, etc!
One of my home lakes is being drawn down. It's about 6 - 7' below normal pool right now, and they're going to take it down to 15' below normal pool. I need to go out there and take some pics.
looks like a nice spawning flat in the spring... how far is the water down
