Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

These are a bunch of vertical weights I'll use for dragging behind the float tube.
All but one should be nearly snagfree.

Being a pack rat, and a repurposer, I hate to toss anything until I've give some thought on how to reuse it.

I've had a bunch of small ball bearings and shoulder bolts in my stash for a long time and cobbled up these as ways to use them.

1. Left side - the bearings are looped together with wire ties into flexible drag weights. Snagless
The 3x one with wire is a prototype - I'll rework that one.
2. Middle - lock nutted bolts.
Itll work, but I'm not feeling it. If I can find some silicone tubing or poly piping to squeeze over them I'll be happier.
2. Right - wheel weights.
These I pounded into sections taken parts from a dried up Sharpie marker.
Then I used a heat gun to reform the plastic into stick weights.

"Red Thing" - the bolts again, with heat shrink tubing around them. This has serious potential, but I'm nearly out of heat shrink!

Ill rig these on three way swivels, weight below-hooks aboveb

I'll let them follow behind the float tube, as I fin around. Or, just use them as vertical or casting weights.
