I didn't weigh this fish, (the other picture of this fish with a smaller fish on the bottom) I did weigh the bottom fish and he was 1.0 on the dot. Excellent knife but, yes it was too small. thank god i have about 4 more filet knives. It's a great knife to fillet the smaller gills to where there is only bone left on the fish. Very precise kinfe.
