i personally caught smaller fish this year than last 08' at perris, but caught tons of fish. I think since the water levels back up the gills and crappies will be lurking around that island all spring

I don't know Chris, fishing was pretty good last spring and summer. Got my largest 'Gill and Redear and caught lots of fish! I do want to beat my PB 2 lb fish caught from Barrett though, and Perris is the place to do this. Hopefully this year.
