That is amazin as far as the color gose, what a cool looking fish, must look great when it is coming up on your line from the water

Its a red spotted sunfish. Most of the time thees fish are alot more black and brown. Its spawning season so just like bluegills chest fires up bright orange or red these lil guys whole body goes nuts.

Weird! If its only one fish like that then something is wrong with this fish.... stress?
If not then what's it? Must be some kind of hybrid....? Half redbreast sunfish and half bluegill ?

Looks like it belongs at a black market pet store in the rare ocean fish department haha. I wonder if some hybrid could be grown to make the little buggers larger.

That is a fired up stumpknocker! My favfish out of the gill fam. There tiny mites but I consider them by far the best eating of all!
