I still cant tell, even when I clean them I have a male and a female side by side and they dont look different enough to go ok now I can tell them apart.

it maybe a male because of the light color of the fish. Shellcrackers the males have a tendency to be that light as well too.

Definitely a pumpkinseed, but I'm not sure of the sex. It could be a washed out male?
