Nope. I would disagree. The Redeye bass has stripes and is more greenish. This fish is mottled and there are no stripes. The Rock Bass from what I have learned does have more of a bass type mouth. Here is a link to a pic of a small Redeye Bass http://www.tnfish.org/SpeciesFishInformation_TWRA/RedeyeCoosaBassTe... Also, the bottom back fins are more of the sunfish type fins and the Redeye Bass has only a single fin and a redish tail. The Redeye Bass is rare and in 'Bama and Georgia. Here in Ohio, the small streams have these.
