I would like to try these out again, but the last time I tried to clean one the meat was mushy and tasted like mud or silt.
So I have not had one since then.
Plus now that they have introducded the Blue Cats they seem to be pretty hard to find now, unless you find a pond that is stocked with them.

how big were those guys, what did you catch them on, and did you clean them?

John catching them from about 5:30 in the afternoon to dark I am sure they would bite after dark but work the next day prohibbits me from staying longer
