yep... one of my favorite aspects of fishing is setting the hook solid on a fish... and when the LMB or SMB feels the hook set i hope they respond positively with a couple head shaking jumps... glad this one responded favorably for you. makes the memory of the fight longstanding

I'll call this Bass 2,1/2#.Didn't weigh her though . How's that sound to you Slip? Be honest with me , and keep me honest,lol.

It was nice Slip! You know the Bass fishing's heating up when they jump when caught .This guy got up out of the water 3x before I lipped him.
