Bluegill - Big Bluegill

Do you love big bluegill?

Part of the large lot of Flatfish I recently got. This is for John Sheehan.
Hey John - imagine the wiggle of a Jitterbug, but below the surface.
Them stop it right next to a downed log... And let it suspend there.
Then start it moving slowly away.

I doubt a bass worth the name could resist.

Yeah, Ken, an assortment for sure.
Those who know them know they are "old school" - Charles Helin first sold them in 1934, and sold 5,000,000 by 1949! His goal was a lure that had consistent action at slower speeds, where most lures fail. Aside from flies, it was probably the first "finesse" bait as we think of it.
I'm working my way down in size - the F3 and F2 are at the bottom and the hardest to find used.

As for the Lazy Ike, I dunno. It's a random one i had from mixed "tackle box" lot.

John ... and more to come. This isn't all.

Jeff- F2's are the only ones I don't have yet. You'll wait for those to come up used on eBay. New, they go for 4-6$, which is nuts. So I'll put on a little patience and eventually find some.

What no F-2s?   Those tiny single hook Flatfish are great on the panfish, but very hard to find!  It looks like you may have a "Lazy Ike" lure in the bunch.  That red and white one?

Thanks Carl- got more coming.
I refurbish them, a little repaint and they're back in action.
