Eric here are a couple of web sites, That might help with your tying, especially if you are new to it. http://kwsu.org/Offers/FlyTying.aspx They got me started years ago, and it is tv. http://www.flyanglersonline.com/ They have alot of patterns and recipes. My water is running in the mid to upper 30's. Keep posting pics so we can see your progress!!

yea its open but very very cold haha. most of the time i use something like poppers, muddlers, or black ants. I'm just very excited for spring so to keep my self busy i've been tying alot. I just started tying though. I'm kinda getting the hang of it.
