It would still make good bait for the warm-water predators, LMBs, Smallmouth, Catfish, basically anything that eats a minnow.

I don't think there are any Brook Trout in this particular creek. It's way too warm. I'd have to go up to the mountains to find the Brookies. Thanks for the advice though.

Ben ,you got brook Trout in that Creek? That chub there is good Brook Trout bait if you use a cut piece! Works in my local brook .
