Reminds me of a "green worm," a variation on a caddis pupa. Good slow presentation, maybe a cold weather fly?

Tied on a size 14, perfect for UL fly rods. Small bead or bead-chain gives just enough weight to get it down. Works especially well on gills tied with the "pearl chenille" size small.Tail can be marabou or micro chenille in the same or contrasting color of the body. I love to fish these on my "0" wt fly rod........This is basically a greenie-weenie tied with the pearl chenille. If fishing very shallow water, this can be tied without the bead or bead-chain head, making it very light and it will sink very slowly..............Beginning fly tiers will love this one, really easy to tie..................
