Do you love big bluegill?
This is a Frankenstein fly-jig-bug and it has a little of everything in it from egg sack to hellgramite to maggot and it is a perfect size for our panfish friends.

This is a bug used for working rocky shores- it is literally called - the UGLY BUG.
The offset jughead and the long "legs" and tail function to keep the jig out of the crags but also to wiggle, jiggle and entice. If you fish some rocky places- this is from the 60's but it stands alone.
Yes, it also will stand up so it can be slurped in by hungry bream.

This is from Gapen.com they are 3rd generation fly and lure makers - the fly patterns they have include methods from England and most are made here in the U.S.A. I am a fan because they are NOT sold in the box stores.

HEY JOHNNY WERE DID YOU FIND THIS BUG? I HAVE AN OLD TIME CUSTOMER OF MINE THAT SAYS I MADE THESE , AND HAD TO MAKE HIM MORE !!! I DIDN'T RECALL EVER MAKING EM IN THE FIRST PLACE .
