That is a double-helmeted, reproduction-colored, crayfish-eatin', tackle-bustin' monster 'gill!!!!

Nice! Ross I wish you and some of the other guys would stop holding the fish way out away from your body. (I've done it too) It's easier to see their size if they are closer to the fisherman's body.

Over 200 views in less than three days! Man, this site has changed! I think some of my first photos that I posted last March took 6 months to get to that point. :-)

Of course, I was the only one on the site...

Ross, You have truely found a special body of water! What an amazing set of pictures! This fish as got to be close to the MN state record! All your gills are true giants, which is truely AWESOME! I hope that you are practicing catch and release, those fish have the genetics and will keep producing monsters if you let them. Congrats!

That thing is just gi-freaking-normous ! When I first saw it in the thumbnail, I thought > That can't be real.... That must just be a wood carving or something....

Then I opened the full size shot, and I don't know what to say !?!? Do you know the exact weight, or length ? Looks WAY over 2 lbs to me ! That thing is just stacked.
