I have been told there are big bass in this shallow lake that gets weedy in the summer. The monster crappies are not to be expected everyday...average is 9 to 10 inches.

Yes...it is just over the hill from Walker. There have been a few trophy crappie taken from Faylor this ice season, to 17 inches.

This was my first time on this lake and we fished straight out from the parking lot about 2/3 the way to the opposite shoreline. Got most fish in 8 ft of water, but many fish in and around the channel where it runs 11-12 ft deep.
