One of my best producers has been micro size Johnson Silver Minnows - 1/12th ounce I think.
The big bluegill would nail them.

i tipped with a waxie ,caught gills and crappies last spring on a trip i go on every april.water was in the high 50s.no perch in the lake i fished but i magine they would hit it.trying to find a small amount of t powder.stuff is kinda pricey

What species you catch on these ? I see them as cold water lures and twitch /fall for any pan fish that swims . Tungsten powder and epoxy huh ,you got me listening!

yes they worked better than i thought.worked good on a twitch fall but not well on a straight retrieve.need to refine em more.might get tungsten powder and mix with epoxy and pour the back to make em heavier with less bulk
