Thats funny! My Dad and my PaPa was fishing one time when my Dad hooked him in the ear while casting! My PaPa said "Play me son, play me I'm gettin away!!!" He was a good ole man! I would have been yelling and probably saying a few things that i shouldn't say!!

Switch to some #14 hooks STAT!
Microbarb is your best friend. If it makes you feel any better, I have seen worse. How about straight under the thumb nail - all the way in? Or - how about your friend jumps up 2.5 feet to grab a Rapala out of a tree branch. Only - the tree branch doesn't let go and puts it in his palm.... I found him jumping up and down in the woods screaming my name and "a little help". Couldn't figure out why the tree branch was bouncing up and down every time he would jump up. Human Cane-poling - white pine style...

Are you going Noodling? Ouch man- I always say use light hooks.
Good cations for this photo would be: " On the bright side, I didn't have to pull the barb through before I had to cut it" -- or -- " I have to stop fishing with my nail gun"...
