Today we got crappie in 13 ft of water and suspended as high as 9 feet, or 4 feet off of the lake floor. It was an 'up' bite, and the fish would follow 3 feet up in the water column to take the jig or spoon tipped with a waxie.

Jim, this fish was 12' down over 21' of water. The crappies have been all over the column, chasing hard when located.
