Most were smaller sized gills but we landed s few in the 1.5 range. Bite was instant, were looking for some redear sunfish and crappies all morning with no luck so we hit the deep water and there they were.

I haven't had one problem at DVL Jeff. Now for some reason when i fish Skinner its difficult cause the big fish are usually dead by the tine they reach the surface so there's no point trying to release them. I don't mind taking you out to DVL next season or even Skinner if you want to join us. The invitation is always open to anyone. Im sure ledhed,Anthony and you know how these fish need to be handled when fishing these depths. Water temp is 64 at perris so the gills aren't even that deep anymore.
