Have one in the freezer Jeff - was trying to get another one to send Tim. No male 2lbers - a few females.

The BG & RE size took a beating for the previous two years. Too many people were fishing the beds and keeping everything. This year with the higher water level, limiting the shore access to the beds, should really help the BGs rebound. The panfish "limit" will also help with getting the average size back up.

Don't know about the latest rumor of a 3lber but I wouldn't doubt it. I got some really nice BGs (8s &9s) last Thursday in the Marina. Poked around yesterday, to see if they were still there, and they are. No one is fishing for them!

As much as you talented guys have gone out this year LH, I can't believe someone has not caught an "over 2" yet. (or have you?)  Are they becoming a thing of the past at LP?  I know the real pigs don't come easy, but do you think the general size of a trophy BG there at LP has gotten smaller in the past several years?  I did hear that a kid caught a 3 pounder at the docks recently though...
