We looked it up online. It's a Texas Rat Snake. Commonly known as a chicken snake.

It looks to be a King snake....But maybe a ,make you hurt yourself snake..LOL

No No NO, Sharon, dont stop posting them some of the best looking snakes I have seen. Just glad they are in Texas and not Okieland!!!!! Maybe they are eating all big gill!!!!!!!

Sharon, What is your fixation on snakes?????? My suggestion is wear knee high leather boots and find a good deal on a snake charmer ( 410 pistol ) they are more forgiving if you are not a good shot!!!! Most snakes are however when skinned and gutted quite tasty when fried in an egg-milk bath and coated with flower. FRIED of course!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
