Never fished those UB's but they look like excellent summer choices .I use the old Burke/Creme lures on the flyrod in small rivers around here and they do well on RBS and Smallies !

Here lately for the Sunfish I've been mainly using Uncle Bucks Mayfly and the Dragonfly - olive colored for both.

John - if I remember correctly for that trip I was at the park just south of Front Royal on the Shenandoah River. I'd like to go back sometime!

Pretty Hen! I fished the Shenandoah River two days in a row  back in July 2010 .That river has the prettiest Turquoise Red Breasted Sunfish i've ever seen .Ben- Where on the River have you fished?  I'd like to know your bait of choice too.I used spinners and Curly Tail jigs .
