Do you love big bluegill?
The wind was pretty horrendous .Didn't really need that wire guard on this big bladed bait but was glad to see it didn't hinder it's action any .Nabbed a17" Pickerel on the last day of March .

JOHN;; I;LL LOOK AROUND MY AREA FOR SOME OF THOSE FOR YA BUDDY;; WHAT COLOR DO YOU PREFER ?? YOU KNOW;; YOU COULD HAVE USED A SUSANB. ANOTHNY COIN !! SAME SIZE AS A QUARTER BUT WORTH A DOLLAR ;; LOLOLOL
LOL, right! I was calling this a quarter sized blade till i actually measured . 1/2 dollar is closer,Carl ! Wish i could find those semi-hard split tail grubs now .Have you seen them around ?These ,I think were made in the 80's and I have very few left .They dont get beat up so bad because the texture is harder than present day planned obsolescence material. .Much better than what they make today IMO.
JOHN;; I ESPECIALLY LIKE THAT QUARTER YOU PUT ON IT !! TIME AND MONEY; PUT INTO EVERY CAST YOU MAKE;; LOL
I recall Dick Tabbert and I discussing Spinner-baits and agreeing that most we own and throw are White or Chartreuse. That is still the case and those two colors account for the majority of my SB catches ,but with some water colors in my area I am now wondering if this brown head orange split tail color isn't a good choice as well. It's a somewhat heavy bait ,high wind choice for me now. I threw it on 8 # test mono.
