Caught a total of 84 fish, about half of them were Pumpkinseeds from 9 to 10 inches.

I agree. Still a spectacular fish, one that any angler would love to catch.

Correction...bluegill X pumpkinseed naturalized hybrid. Almost all of the big 'seeds' are these pumpkingill males. These lack the classic red mark on the opercular flap. Mouth is also proportionately larger than that of the true pumpkinseeds I have seen here.
