Usually you can find a picture of anything on the internet, but I've googled this fish every way imaginable and I can't find any photos of the male in spawning colors. That's pretty impressive. The Big Bluegill website strikes again!

Marie has stated to me that You did not catch that fish Mr. Mayo. I did. So here I sit to set the story strait! Marie has done a wonderful job with the fish she landed! But on the other hand I found some bigger ones and when the full moon hits this week I intend on getting a bigger one just as bright to mount! Muhahahaha

Theres a ton of them. These thing are super fat and most only get to be 6" Ive been targeting them the past few days trying to catch one bigger than the 7" in the picture. If I can get one to hit that 8" mark Ima mount him. 8" is absolutely huge for these jokers and rite now there spawning like crazy. I came close today with 7 13/16.
